Microsoft Word is a great tool for creating, editing and sharing your files with others. But while trying to work in a document, a number of works may disturb us. Deleting an empty page can be a kind of work. Here is a simple solution for it!
Deleting a page in the Word document
Microsoft Word is not like Microsoft PowerPoint, where you can delete slides just by selecting and deleting it. In the ward, you have to remove the content (text and graphics) to move pages. To easily see empty paragraphs, switch to show paragraph marks: press Ctrl + Shift + 8, then select the content of that page and delete it.
Similarly, you can select and delete content unit pages anywhere in your document. For this, the process is somewhat different.
Here’s how it works!
Switch your cursor to the page of the content you want to delete and ‘Home’ tab.
In the Home tab, look for the ‘Find’ option in the top right corner and click the drop-down arrow. From the list of available options, select ‘Go To’
If confirmed, the action will be selected on the page content.
Then, just select ‘Close’, and then press ‘Delete’.
Delete a blank page of words
In the open Word document, select paragraph marks from the paragraph group visible in the ‘Home’ tab.
Now, to delete a blank page at the end of the document, select the paragraph marker (¶) at the end of the document and hit the ‘Delete’ button. Once done, click the paragraph mark again, close it.
If the above method fails to work, open the Word file and click on the ‘File’ menu.
Next, go to the print option and select Print Preview from the list of available options.
Finally, shrink a page to automatically delete another blank page.
